Olivia’s Birthday

Olivia celebrated her birthday for two weeks. First with pizza with Grandmom and Papaw and Aunt Sandy and Uncle Mark. Then baby doll cousin party and then her special day with dad. Finally her school party.

Olivia, now you are 4. Wow. I could never have imagined how much joy and feeling God could pack into one little person. Your excitement and enthusiasm is delightful. You leave a little sparkle wherever you are. Daddy and I love you so much!

Lots of fun memories from the end of September into October! Benny got to see a fire truck up close. Olivia enjoyed school. Mama got lots of snuggles and fellow oatmeal lover with Benjamin. Daddy coached a lot of football. Then kids shared a virus that Olivia had so bad. It was scary. Thank God for feeling better.

We had a little storm and lost a big tree and power so we had a slumber party at Gigi’s BUT Benjamin didn’t sleep. Awesome.

Went to the library and did a craft.

Snuggled and tried on Daddy’s shoes.

Marvel at these beautiful children and Benjamin is getting so independent, feeding himself oatmeal.

Thank You, God, for ordinary days and the beauty these children are and bring out.

Olivia had “b” week at school and we made peanut butter ball bees and they made biscuits and butter at school.

Olivia went to Alex’s patriotic pep rally and was so proud of all her cheer stuff.

Alex went to the dentist with a weird ailment. A piece of bone worked it’s way out and he is much better now. Kevin said he had never seen such a thing.

Olivia got some new hair bows and the fire men tested the hydrants.

Favorite fall thing is measuring with apples. Babies getting tall.

August was full of our annual back to school breakfast, meet the teacher for Olivia, a mercifully quick tummy bug and the start back of college football.

Brother and sister are playing with each other and enjoying the small things. These are the days. The world is crazy but to these two, they love the simple things and remind us to take joy and a deep breath. My favorite moments are ordinary days. Thank You, Lord.
